| I canceled my dial up about four years ago and never looked back. When did everyone else opt out of dial up service? | ||

| It's been a long time since we had dial up. It was so annoying to have our phones tied up anytime someone was on the Internet. They did come out with a program that would notify you if you were getting a call be we never had that. We switched to cable instead. | ||

I think we switched about two or three years ago. My brother-in-law is still on dial-up and he gets annoyed when people send him large videos in email.
I don't blame him, but I hope he soon switches, too. |

| Yeah, Dial Up is not exactly the format you want to use to watch video files! | ||

| I'm still with dial-up. Everyone feel sorry for me! But I'm switching as soon as I find the best service in my area. I agree that dial-up really stinks, although I'm used to it now. I am a master of multi-tasking. While I wait for a website to load or something to download, I go and do something else. | ||

I used to be like that before I got HughesNet. I would wake turn the computer on dial in and then go make coffee. By the time the coffee was done I would login to my e-mail then go clean myself up for the day. Dial controlled my life. Now I'm a recovering dial up user with high speed.
