High Speed Internet Forum / Service Providers / Wireless / My Laptop does not have a wireless connection

Hello all I just purchased anew lap-top and had it connected to wireless modem by bell, My question is if I take my lap-top to a house that does not have a wireless connection will I still be able to connect to the Internet via ethernet port if i turn off wireless button on laptop ?
