High Speed Internet Forum / Service Providers / DSL / Verizon blocks port 25

I have an older mail server which only uses port 25 for outgoing emails. So, I cannot change it to the alternate 587 port for sending because verizon blocks port 25 for "spamming" purposes.

which suggests using a socks proxy server. I know nothing about this. Would anyone here understand this and happen to know Verizon's socks proxy server address?
